Soha Ali Khan supports fashion for a Cause at Muktangan NGO !
Fashionista and Bollywood Actress, Soha Ali Khan was seen interacting with the kids on a bright sunny day at Muktangan, a NGO known for supporting the underprivileged children up to middle school level for a charitable event. The initiative was undertaken by Design One, a flagship of Sahachari Foundation that supports deserving NGOs in the areas of education and social-economic development by raising funds through events that span across a wide canvas of cultural, social and entrepreneurial activities.
Supporting the cause, Soha Ali Khan mentioned, ‘It’s refreshing to see children being encouraged to make decisions, and explore their own ideas to develop their own understanding’. Soha also applauded their mission of funding NGO projects through initiatives like Design One expo.
The official spokesperson of Design One, Amruda Nair said, we are thrilled to present the fifth installment of the exhibition at World Trade Centre and look forward to raising funds for many deserving NGO’s.
Design one, the shopping extravaganza, will offer a holistic and personalized shopping experience all under one roof, with innovative collections specially designed for the festival season, featuring a galaxy of designers. The two-day shopping extravaganza features a remarkable combination of carefully selected established designers such as Kantilal Chotalal, Renu Zhaveri, Amishi Dhanuka, Surily Goel, Anushka Khanna, Pankaj and Nidhi, Dimple Mehta, Priya Parikh, Shrey, Seema Khan, Sanjay Garg, Atsu Sekhose, Deepika Jindal, along with a whole host of distinguished designers. The diverse range of products of 85 entrepreneurs, to be featured at the festival includes fashion wear, accessories, jewellery, home products, textiles, lifestyle products and gift items.
The exhibition is scheduled to be held on the 16th and 17th September 2013 at World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade; Design One is supported by Kantilal Chhotalal, IndusInd Bank, Godrej Nature’s basket, Shray, Dimple Mehta, Renu Zaveri, Artthinox, Priya Parikh and Amishi London.
