‘Look Good Feel Better- The Richfeel Cancer Initiative’ held in Mumbai to honor Cancer survivors

~Event held by Richfeel Trichology commemorates individuals and organizations who have dedicated themselves to fight Cancer~

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases known to man causing approximately 7.6 million annual deaths worldwide, however advances in treatment and early detection are helping people live longer after the initial diagnosis. The long arduous battle against cancer with treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation, takes its toll on even the strongest and bravest of the survivors; severely compromising the patient’s vitality and emotional stability. Richfeel Trichology, India’s leading trichology chain which provides holistic solutions for hair, beauty and body care needs held the ‘Look Good Feel Better-The Richfeel Cancer Initiative’ in celebration of those who have survived. The participants united on 9th June 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel in the symbolic event to prove that life after cancer is meaningful, fruitful and inspirational.

Richfeel masterfully showcased the valiant personal stories of the people living with a history of Cancer; the survivors connected with each other, celebrating milestones and enjoying being alive. Gracing the righteous cause with their presence were the world’s leading Trichologists and the pioneer of Trichology in India, Dr. Apoorva Shah and Dr. Sonal Shah, the Founders of RichfeelMr. Mickey Mehta, India’s leading Holistic Health Guru, Dr Jitesh Shetty, India’s leading cosmetologist, anti-ageing specialist
and hair transplant surgeon, Dr. Vidhan Doshi, renowned ophthalmologist along with Mr. Sandeep Kerkar, Mentor, Corporate Trainer, Personal Counselor and Motivational Speaker. Through its Look Good Feel Better program, Richfeel pledged to enrich the lives of the cancer patients and provide them a newfound confidence, while recognizing those who have supported them all the way.

The noble initiative was followed by the felicitation of the India’s leading NGO’s Helping Hand, Cancer Aid and Search Foundation, Cancer Patient Aid Association and Cancer Aid Foundation for their commendable effort in raising funds for the cancer patients. India’s leading specialist doctors who strive to enrich the lives of Cancer patients and treat every patient with compassion were also honored.
