National, The latest season of Zee TV’s popular dance reality show DID Li’l Masters has set new benchmarks of excellence in dance with its talented contestants giving ‘Blockbuster’ performances week on week. After entertaining audiences and leaving viewers waiting with bated breath to find out who will walk away with the coveted trophy, DID Li’l Masters drew to a close this weekend.  The show crowned Jiya Thakur as its winner amidst much fanfare and celebration. Hyderabad Ki Shaan, Jiya, was presented the DID Li’l Masters trophy crowning her as the ultimate Blockbuster Baccha along with a cash prize of Rs.5 lakhs. Jiya was one of the wild card entrants in the show and impressed everyone with her grace and versatility.  Finalists Urva Bhaskar and Tamman Gamnu were announced as the first and second runners-up respectively and were also awarded cash prizes to celebrate their journey and achievements on the show. DID Li’l Masters Finale also witnessed the presence of the eminent art director-turned-filmmaker Omung Kumar as he gears up to make his television debut as a judge on Zee TV’s next non-fiction show India’s Best Dramebaaz along with the show’s host, the dynamic Shantanu Maheshwari.  In their elements at the finale were the show’s terrific trio of judges – Marzi Pestonji, Farah Khan and Siddharth Anand and hosts Jay Bhanushali and Tamanna, who collectively raised the evening’s entertainment quotient.

Speaking about her victory, an elated Jiya said, “DID Li’l Masters has been a great learning experience for me. It was my moment of pride when skipper Vaishnavi took me under her wings and made me a part of Vaishnavi ke Veere. During the course of the show, I have learned so much about dance and about myself. Vaishnavi understood my strengths and weaknesses and guided me at every step. The entire team, including the judges Farah ma’am, Marzi Sir, Siddharth Sir and my fellow contestants have been very supportive and have encouraged me to give my best throughout my journey on the show. One of the best moments of my life was when the dancing diva Madhuri Dixit called me ‘Choti Madhuri’. She even appreciated my performance and gave me her blessings. Moreover, I found a strong supporter and mentor in Farah Ma’am. I could not have asked for anything more.  I am glad to have made some truly special bonds which I will cherish for life. I am really excited and want to thank Zee TV for giving me this amazing opportunity and platform.”

The grand finale of DID Li’l Masters was nothing short of an entertainment extravaganza with both talent and magnificence coming together. Making it a truly blockbuster evening, the grand finale episode started with a stunning opening act by the finalists of the show followed by mesmerizing performances by the Skippers – Jeetumoni Kalita, Vaishnavi Patil, Tanay and Bir Sherpa. Dancer extraordinaire and India’s Best Dramebaaz host Shantanu Maheshwari and host Jay Bhanushali set the stage on fire with their killer dance moves. But, at the end of the day, it was up to the Top 5 finalists – Urva Bhavsar, AP Rockers, Jiya Thakur, Amman and Mann and Amit – to show the audiences why they are India’s blockbuster bacche and wow the nation with their indomitable talent!
