The Dirty Picture is set in the colorful and entertaining backdrop of South-Indian film industry of the 80s. This story is about the rebellious Reshma (Vidya Balan) who lived an impoverished lifestyle. She flees away to Madras to fulfill her dreams, landing up becoming ‘Silk’, the epitome of sensuality.
