Vivek Oberoi visits his extended family in Vrindavan
Vivek Oberoi is a man of his words and makes it a point to live up to his commitments. The talented actor and philanthropist who turned a year older on September 3 kept his birthday celebrations on hold and travelled to Delhi to announce a huge sanitation initiative under the Swach Bharat campaign in association with Habitat For Humanity for ONE foundation and announced the development of over 1 lakh free toilets across India.
The actor was supposed to visit his school in Vrindavan for his project DEVI that sponsors the education of more than 3500 girls but he had already committed to visit Delhi for the launch of 1 lakh free toilets.
But Vivek being man of his word did not stall his plan of visiting the school in Vrindavan.
On the girls’ request of celebrating his birthday with them at the school, Vivek took a day off and visited the school and distributed sweets to the girls.
The girls from DEVI foundation went crazy on seeing Vivek and clicked photographs and selfies with their favourite actor.
The school authorities had also organised a special programme for Vivek wherein the young girls showcased their dancing skills and sports activities.
