Surat Sandhu, Chair, the Resource Alliance India said, “NGOs in India are doing an exemplary job and this award was instituted to give them the much needed recognition that they so truly deserve. It’s indeed heartening to see that NGO’s have made a tremendous impact in bringing about tangible benefits to their target communities. However, it’s essential that NGOs are equipped with the strategy; skills and knowledge that will help them build fundraising capacities and improve long-term financial sustainability. How to raise funds and remain sustainable is a dilemma faced by most Indian NGOs today. This is where Resource Alliance steps in as a trusted intermediary”.

In total 13 NGOs have been selected as finalist and they  will be profiled in a casebook and film, which will be disseminated at the Awards ceremony and through the Resource Alliance website and other social media and will also be offered 10 days of one to one mentoring to strengthen their internal system and processes
