This week, the channel surpassed all previous records and garnered the highest ever TVTs (75063) with the highest ever Reach (21479) and the highest ever Time Spent (105 mins) since its inception 8 years ago. It has also acquired the No.2 position in the Marathi genre, racing ahead of leading GECs like Star Pravah & ETV Marathi. Not only that, it is also the No. 1 movie channel of Maharashtra.
Riteish Deshmukh’s blockbuster hit -‘Lai Bhaari’ which smashed all box office records in the Marathi industry also smashed all records on Zee Talkies. It clocked the highest ever TVTs (3864*) for any premiere on Zee Talkies, with a splendid reach of 10.5 Mn viewers, highest ever for any movie premiere on the channel. The telecast premiere was supported by an exhaustive campaign across TV, print and digital mediums. The channel is a strong No. 1 with 57785 GVTs, ahead of all movie channels in Maharashtra on a 6 week average basis*.
Even though Zee Talkies has always enjoyed the highest Time spent by audiences on any movie channel, maintaining the No.1 Reach position among Marathi GECs has been challenging task which has been successfully handled by the team.
