Divya Khosla Kumar, who made her directorial debut with ‘Yaariyan’, a youthful and contemporary story about a group of friends, is on cloud nine, especially as the film enjoyed a bumper opening as it hit silver screens across the country yesterday. According to reports, Yaariyan opened with a stupendous box office collection of 6.30cr on first day.

The T-Series film, which boasts of a fresh star cast and hit music, has won countless hearts across the country, which has been proved by the fact that the all India booking for Yaariyan morning shows was around 80 percent to houseful.. Made in a budget of 10cr with additional 9cr for P&A for the entire cast of newcomers, the opening response from the audience who are college goers and teenagers has resulted the film to get a stupendous opening.
