South Asian Film Festival (SAFF Canada), the first of its kind, will take place June 13-17, 2012, in Vancouver, and in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, Canada. The festival is unusual in Canada in that this will be a SAARC festival event, and every effort will be made to present work from all of the SAARC family of nations.

A SKYPE Master Class tie-up with our sister debuting festival in Ladakh, India.
A “Spirit of the Muse Award” for a leading South Asian film artist (or artists) who have inspired, encouraged and mentored young South Asian film artists.
A mid-festival highlight every year will be a program we are calling A Conversation With…which will feature a major South Asian film artist.
