Overjoyed,Overwhelmed, Over the Moon !!!! People walked out of theatres after watching The Dirty Picture saying that the film respected Silk and that’s why we audiences didn’t judge her:)…Therefore to receive the most respected of all awards the National Award, for my portrayal of Silk, makes this that much more special for me – not just as an actor but also as a woman :).Truly Humbling!!!
