Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Krian Media Ink International Distribution Deal for ‘Bhaji in Problem’
Third such deal, between both parties. To release on 15th November across 150 screens globally !
Viacom 18 Motion Pictures has inked the International distribution deal with Krian Media Ltd for its upcoming release ‘Bhaji in Problem’. The signing holds high significance as it is the third distribution deal signed between both parties. The earlier deals being G.I. Joe Retaliation (India and Nepal Distribution) and Boss (International Distribution). Bhaji In Problem would have a Day and Date release in most International markets on 15 November 2013.
Commenting on the development, Raj Malik, Vice President, Film Acquisition & Distribution, Krian Media, stated: “Our association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, now in the third movie, is a very important one for us, as it is not just an important Client relationship but also optimally validates our achievements and growing market position.
“With respect to Bhaji In Problem we support the movie completely as it is a great product and we really believe in it,” added Raj.
Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde Productions Bhaji in Problem is an upcoming Punjabi comedy film directed by Smeep Kang, starring Gippy Grewal, RaginiKhanna, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Om Puri, B.N. Sharma, Japji Khaira, Khushboo Grewal and Misha Bajwa amongst others. Smeep earlier directed films like Carry on Jatta and Lucky Di Unlucky Story, both also featured Gippy Grewal in the lead role.
In addition to ‘Bhaji in Problem’ and in a short span since its inception Krian Media Ltd., in addition to having acquired and released Boss, ‘G.I. Joe Retaliation’ and Raja Rani, has released ‘War Chhod Na Yaar’, and two Malyalyam films in USA.
