Vande Mataram album launch Sheila Dikshit

Amid all the starry affair, the Veecon Music Entertainment launched yet another album,‘Vande Mataram’at the plush Le Meridien Hotel in New Delhi, after the success of Amitabh Bachchan`s ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and Sonu Niigaam’s ‘Icchapurti Gayatri Mantra’. Sheila Dikshit launched the album, ‘Vande Mataram’ and said, “This song is being released close to the Republic Day when the entire nation is overwhelmed with patriotism, and rejoices the freedom given to us 64 years back. The video and music composed by Bickram Ghosh is simply inspiring and I should say it is one of world’s best composition so far.”

The guests who honored the event with their presence included Farooq Abdullah, Subodh Kant Sahay, Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt , Bickram Ghosh, Sonu Niigaam, Kumaresh , Kamal Sabri, Mahalaxmi Iyer, lyricist Samir, Anand Raj Anand, Indian ocean, Vipin Handa.

On this occasion Farooq Abdullah did an impromptu act of singing Vande Mataram, so moved was Sonu Niigaam by this, that he joined him in singing the song which turned out to be a beautiful treat for the audience.

Bickram Ghosh the music composer of the album said, “My version of ‘Vande Mataram’ is introspective and philosophical. It is the national song woven into a new melody 64 years after independence. It is not a song of uprising as was the mainstay of the original song. I’ve created a melody straight from my heart and the finest of India’s artists have executed. »

Vande Mataram is sung by 21 singers such as Pandit Vishwamohan Bhatt, Shaan, Indian Ocean, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Niigaam, Sundhi Chauhan, RoopKumar Rathod, Palash Sen, Mahalaxmi Iyer to name a few. The album is produced by Group Chairman Vijay Srivastava of Veecon Group and Lalit Srivastava and conceptualized by MD J.K Srivastava who has promised to donate all the proceeds from this album towards the education of the underprivileged children in India.
