Classicaval, 2nd Opus:  13th-15th March 2012

Classical music lovers take note…Val d’Isère’s Classicaval Festival, which runs from 13th- 15th March 2012, is not to be missed. Internationally acclaimed classical artists will attract music lovers from far and wide as they perform at the beautiful baroque church of Saint Bernard de Menthon for a series of emotive and inspiring compositions in the stunning alpine village of Val d’Isère.

The first opus of the Classicaval Festival took place from the 24th – 26th January 2012, under the direction of David Lefèvre.

The Festival’s second opus will take place from the 13th – 15th March 2012 when Elena Rozanova, one of the world’s greatest pianists and chamber music professor at the Frankfurt Hochschule for five years, will perform as artistic director.

Highlights will include compositions from Jean Sébastien Bach and Franz Liszt, plus a special performance of ‘De Charlie Chaplin à Nino Rota’. The enchanting church of Saint Bernard de Menthon makes a really memorable setting for the Classicaval Festival.
