‘Transformers 4 – Age of Extinction’ will be screened at Maruti Suzuki Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF), 2014
The hugely successful Hollywood franchise ‘Transformers 4 – Age of Extinction’, distributed by Viacom 18 in India will be screened at the Maruti Suzuki Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF) 2014. The film will simultaneously have its worldwide release on the same day.
The film will have a special Green Carpet showcase on 27th June 2014. The third edition of Maruti Suzuki LIFF, the highest altitude film festival in the world, will be held from 27 – 29th June at Leh, Ladakh.
Melwyn Williams, Founder & Festival Director, Maruti Suzuki LIFF informed “We are thrilled to celebrate Transformers 4 – Age of Extinction as a special Green Carpet showcase, on the same day the film is releasing worldwide. The film will be screened at the open air theatre at Druk White Lotus School, made famous by Aamir Khan’s movie ‘3 Idiots’, which has a capacity of 20,000 people. Ladakh has a small group of indigenous film makers, who will hugely benefit from the technical brilliance of easily the finest sci-fi series of recent times.”
Directed by Michael Bay & Executive Produced by Steven Spielberg, Transformers 4 – Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg and is 4th in the series of the famed Transformers franchise.
