Trailer of ‘Parched’ crosses 1 million views in record time!
Woman-power is rocking the cyberspace with the trailer of Ajay Devgn’s Leena Yadav-directed film ‘Parched’ crossing a million views in record time! In less than two days, the hit trailer went viral registering a record million views on youtube and counting, besides it trending at the top-spots.
This positive response the film is garnering in spite of a largely all-woman cast is being heralded as a sign of changing times in the industry by the trade.
The film starring Tannishtha Chatterjee, Radhika Apte, Surveen Chawla and Adil Hussain among others has already been creating waves internationally having screened at more than 20 acclaimed film festivals and winning 18 prestigious awards. Now the film is set to release on the home turf on 23rd September.
‘Parched’ follows the lives of four ordinary women in rural India who begin to break free from the century-old patriarchal traditions.
