Trailer launch of Prakash Jha’s “CHAKRAVYUH”
Director Prakash Jha, Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Esha Gupta and Anjali Patil were present at an event held yesterday to unveil the first look of upcoming political thriller CHAKRAVYUH.
Talking about CHAKRAVYUH, said Prakash Jha, “My message through CHAKRAVYUH is to underline the issue of naxalism, the tragedy that is unfolding in various parts of the country today. And I think if you diagnose any problem by studying it very well, you will get its solution too.”
Arjun Rampal said, “It’s my second film with Prakash after RAAJNEETI. The best part about working with him is that since his films are very topical, we get to learn a lot from it. After playing the role of a cop in CHAKRAVYUH, I got to know our cop’s problems, their life, and how they get trapped into the ‘chakravyuh’ unknowingly sometimes.”
Said Abhay Deol, “CHAKRAVYUH is my first action film. Boht shauk raha hai action filmmon ka pehle se hee, so I decided to focus entirely on my work while shooting. And I made sure that I fulfill Prakashji’s demands. I’ve done lot of stunts in the film and I really enjoyed doing them.”
Says Esha Gupta, “It was wonderful experience working with Prakash Jha. Working with such brilliant team and co-stars and of course Prakash Jha was the most important thing for me. I think it’s an every actor’s dream to work one day with Prakash Jha’s team and I find myself lucky to be a part of his film at such an early stage.”
Anjali Patil said, “Whatever I learned from film institute was left one side after I stepped in Prakash Jha’s film. I had a great time shooting with Arjun, Abhay, Esha, Manoj ji. We had lunch together, we used to cook, and work out. I’ll miss them.”
CHAKRAVYUH is slated to release on October 24, 2012.
