Trailer launch launch of Sunil Grover Bollywood debut – Coffee with D
The first look launch of upcoming Hindi film Coffee with D was held at N M Joshi’s annual college festival – Vaayu 2016. The launch was held amongst much fanfare as the college students were quite excited about the screening of the trailer. The plot of Coffee with D appealed to most of the youngsters present at the launch.
Popular TV face Sunil Grover who debuts with Coffee with D was present to promote the film. He plays the role of India’s most celebrated anchor – Arnab Ghosh who interviews world’s dreaded terrorist – D. Well known actor Zakir Husain who has essayed the role of D was also present at the launch along with other stars like Anjana Sukhani and Deepanita Sharma.
Actor Sunil Grover said, “I am excited about the fact that the role is extremely strong. Excitement about the debut film is secondary. The mannerisms of the character is completely a creative call of the director.” Sunil Grover also performed some of his entertaining acts as Gutthi and Dr. Gulati for the audience. Director Vishal Mishra, producer Vinod Ramani, singer Shaan, lyricist Sameer Anjan, writer Aabhar Dadhich and sound designer Dhruv Bhalla attended the launch.
Director Vishal Mishra shared, “The film is about a don and his current situation. He once had a lavish lifestyle but now is living on the mercy of an neighbouring country.” The film is based on the 1993 Mumbai Blasts which had rocked the nation.
Coffee with D is scheduled to release on 6th January 2017 and is directed & written by Vishal Mishra. It is produced under the banner of Apex Entertainment by Vinod Ramani. Aabhar Dadhich has written the screenplay & dialogues. Music is by Superbia and lyrics by Sameer Anjan. Coffee with D has been filmed in Mumbai & Goa.
