Torch Campaign: A ‘Torch Campaign’ = 5000 kms -30 days — 50 lakh people-around 13 districts

The 100 years of Indian Cinema will be celebrated in every village, in every city

The journey will commence with a magnificent ‘Torch Campaign’ which will start from the month December 2012 and will be carried on till 27th January 2013. During this period, the ‘Torch Campaign’’ will pass through several important destinations of Rajasthan including the Pink City Jaipur- Sikar, Jhunjunu- Bikaner, Jaisalmer- Jodhpur, Pali-Ajmer, Bhilwara, Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Alwar etc.

It will return back on January 27th 2013 on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the 5th Jaipur International Film Festival at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur. The ‘Torch Campaign’ will accomplish its journey in the period of 2 months.

During this journey, the exhibition of the Indian Cinema will be done and the film festivals of one day will be conducted in these cities.

It would be a great step to promote your organization/company as a brand value across Rajasthan. We believe that through this initiative the Govt. can also become an integrated unit to promote art & culture and tourism in the state. So your support is decisive in itself.

In one such case, the program will be executed in January for the period of a month.

What: Programming:

1. A ‘Torch Campaign’ of 5000 kms in Rajasthan 2. 30 days long journey

3. This ‘Torch Campaign’ will be observed by at least 50 lakh people. 4. The exhibition of the films will be done for the period of 30 days in around 13 districts of Rajasthan (one day film festival in each city). 5. The screening of nearly 300 films will be done during the period of 30 days. 6. The discussion seminars on Indian Cinema will be conducted. Topic- Indian Cinema: A Development Journey. 7. The programs representing the Rajasthani Culture will be showcased at selective places. 8. The publicity will also be attained via various other mediums like TV, radio, newspapers, etc.

How: will organize

1. The first team comprises of the members who will initiate the ‘Torch Campaign’’ and will take all the customary/ regulatory permissions in advance. 2. The second team will keep surveillance on the preparations of the screening of all the films. 3. The third and the final team will be an integrated part of the ‘Torch Campaign’ itself and will reach the particular city on the day of the program itself.
