Tickets go on sale for the 13th IIFA Awards in Singapore!

The 13th Videocon IIFA Weekend and Awards celebration is all set to bring the magic of Indian Cinema to Singapore this year.
Tickets for the prestigious IIFA Awardswill go on sale on Saturday, the 12th of May, 9.00am onwards, online at www.sistic.com. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at +65 6348 5555. Tickets are priced at $110, $250, $350, $500, $700 and $1500. The Awards will be hosted by Indian superstar Shahid Kapoor at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on the 9th of June, 2012.
Just last year, IIFA 2011 saw its largest capacity crowd of over 28,000 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. Ticket sales for the event set a new record, surpassing all previous IIFA sales records wherein the first block of tickets sold out in less than three minutes while the remainder sold out within the hour.
Instituted in 2000, this will be the 13th year of spreading the magic of Indian cinema across the world signifying the international success of the Indian Film Industry. The ceremony is held in different exotic cities each year.
The first IIFA Awards were held at the Millennium Dome in London, UK back in 2000. Since then, millions of Indian cinema fans, filmmakers, celebrities and business leaders have enjoyed the IIFA Celebrations in Sun City, Genting Highlands, Dubai, Amsterdam, Yorkshire, Bangkok, Macau, Johannesburg, Colombo and Toronto.
The Weekend unfolds over a glorious three days and includes a host of sub-events like IIFA Rocks, IIFA Film Premiere, IIFA Film Media Briefings, IIFA Music Workshop and the night of nights, the IIFA Awards and a myriad of interactive community events.This award ceremony has been organised by Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt Ltd – India’s first and premier event management and entertainment agency.This is the second time IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) Awards will be held in Singapore after its grand success in 2004.
