The music of Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali ‘s Ram-Leela is out now !

While the trailer of Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram-Leela released to a sea of accolades and praise with everyone from Amitabh Bachchan,Farah Khan to Anurag Kashyap voicing their support- The director couldn’t be more excited to introduce to audiences the music of the film, something he has worked as tediously on as he has on every frame ,marking his return as music director after Guzaarish.

Elevating the scale and intensity of the film ,the album of Ram-Leela that includes the highly popular Ramji Ki Chaal,Nagada Sang Dhol,Ang Laga De,Ishqyaun Dhishqyaun,Lahoo Muh Lag Gaya,Ram Chahe Leela saw its release yesterday across all digital platforms , with the album hitting stands later this week.

Commenting on the music of the film says Bhansali, ” This music is a tribute to all the music I’ve grown up listening to on my radio especially ,Vividh Bharati, of all the great film composers , singers and lyric writers…I’m also fortunate that my father introduced me to a wide range of music , from the music of Bade Ghulan Ali Khan saab and Lata Mangeshkar right upto Shakeela Bano Bhopali , from the music of K. Asif ‘s Mughal-e-Azam right upto Dada kondke ‘s Songadya. This is a humble offering to all the musicals, though I know its a long way to go and a lot yet to learn.”
