The Gangs Of Wasseypur actor Manoj Bajpayee conducted the first theatre workshop at the acting studio of Mukesh Chhabra this weekend.

Chhabra, the much acclaimed casting director of Gangs Of Wasseypur 1 & 2, Highway, Shahid and upcoming films, P.K., Bombay Velvet, Haider recently launched, Mukesh Chhabra Casting Company.

The first acting workshop, which was conducted for free, received an overwhelming response. Out of the 1000 aspiring actors who registered for the workshop the final 48 were shortlisted. The number was decided after consulting with Manoj Bajpai.

Two batches of 12 girls and boys each, attended the intense two-hour-long acting session with the gifted actor, Bajpayee.

Mukesh Chhabra says, “I am overwhelmed with the response. Everyone who attended the workshop wanted to come back again to do it. But we want to give everyone a chance.”

“I had always envisioned this workshop but it is a proud feeling watching it actually happen. I am thankful to Mr. Manoj Bajpayee for supporting this venture. He is just too amazing and everyone adored the way he conducted the workshop, including me. My team and I will try to organize more of such weekend workshops hoping that the enthusiasm will only grow.” He adds.

The Hawa Hawaii actor Pragya Yadav who also attended the workshop tweeted, “Thank you so much @CastingChhabra for making an actors life easier with ur workshops, these two days made me grow and learn tremendously! Truly inspiring.”

While training the youngsters Manoj Bajpayee gave them a few valuable acting tips.”There is no good or bad actor… or subtle or loud acting. An actor is an actor.” He told them.
