The 20th edition of Frames Film Festival, which will take place between the 19th and 21st of January, recently unveiled the theme!
The theme release took place on 3rd December on the campus of S.I.E.S. (Nerul) College of Arts, Science and Commerce. The
event also had musical performances by ‘The Young Drug’ boyband and Diya Maeve.
Over the last two decades, Frames has celebrated the art of cinema and provided a platform for aspiring filmmakers. Every filmmaker wants their art to resonate with the audience and have a lasting impact on them. It all begins with a dream, a “KHWAAB”. The upcoming Frames Film Festival is synonymous with the same idea. The hard work of all volunteers, heads, and core has culminated in the film festival’s continuous success.
“KHWAAB, A theatre of dreams” was unveiled as the theme for the 20th edition of the film festival. Khushi Wankhede, a student and core committee member of the festival, expressed her excitement, saying, “I was so happy to watch the entire team work together so diligently for over two weeks.” “Today, I saw my Khwaab come to life while setting up the stage and the right
tempo, all I could see were happy faces.”
Dreams and visions are the foundation of every movie. It’s about making something to be treasured for a lifetime. It is a dream to leave your mark on history and to make a lasting impression on the audience. I dream of expressing the most creative ideas possible. The hope is that every film will be watched and experienced before judging and that every piece of art will succeed, shine, and prove its worth.
Giving all these art pieces the recognition they deserve is what the Frames film festival is all about!!!
