Awards completes 10 glorious years of honoring and recognizing exemplary achievements in all facets of retail in the India Jewellery industry

The mission to raise the industry standard, create a strong business camaraderie, give industry heads a much-needed platform for networking and exchange ideas and at the same time laud some exceptional efforts in the realm of jewellery designing and promotions reached a glittering culmination at the star-studded night at the 10th Annual Gemfields & Nazraana Retail Jeweller India Awards 2014 held on July 19, 2014 at Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt.

 

This year, this prestigious Awards is celebrating completion of 10 glorious years of setting new benchmark for excellence and igniting the passion in the industry to raise the bar.  What began 10 years back as a sincere endeavor to honour the excellence has turned into an industry-recognized pursuit for brilliance.

 

The 10th edition of the glamorous Awards night was graced by the electrifying presence of celebrated personalities from the Bollywood fraternity like Neha Dhupia (Actress and winner of the Femina Miss India title in 2002), Yami Gautam (Bollywood Actress), Lisa Ray(Model and Activist), Amrita Rao (Bollywood Actress), Gul Panag (Actress  Model, Politician), Richa Chadda (Indian actress), Tara Sharma (British-Indian actress), Elli Avram (Bigg Boss Fame), 

Elina Samadanova (International choreographer at reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa), Kiara Advani (Bollywood Actress),  Sobhita Dhulipala ( Miss India Earth 2013)

Selection Process:

The winners of the jewellery categories at the Retail Jeweller India Awards are chosen through a rigorous and meticulous two-tier selection process. The initial screening is done through an online judging process based on the entries submitted by the participants. The nominated jewellery pieces then go to the next level i.e. physical judging round. The specialized physical judging round of the nominated creations makes the entire judging process more comprehensive. At the second stage the jury thoroughly evaluates the designs on quality, overall commercial and creative appeal. The entire selection process is supervised by the official process validator IMRB to bring in perfection of the highest level.
