TEHSEEN POONAWALLA LAUNCHES PIYUSH JHAs MUMBAISTAN
Below are a few lines about the launch of film maker PIYUSH JHAs book “MUMBAISTAN“ in the city of Pune by youth activist, TEHSEEN POONAWALLA. Just like his films which display his flair for breaking new ground in the range of his works, from the innovative filming style that brings a unique flavor to King of Bollywood, to the classical approach he favoured for showcasing the grandeur and beauty of Kashmir, to the fresh energetic approach of Chalo America and his ad-films where he has always pushed the bounds of what is possible on celluloid, his book too promises to be a complete page turner.
After launching the book at the event Tehseen Poonawalla an avid reader shared his thoughts about the book stating this was the first fictional work he has read since hes usually only reads works of non fiction. Being completely taken in by the romanticism of the authors penmanship, he made an exception to the rule. He said the book was a sure success of a fictional gripping tale based on the crime in Mumbai.
Amongst the audience cheering Piyush on were socialites Vaidehi Rege, Monika Trivedi, Ayesha Barse, Kavita Punjabi and Raman Lamba to name a few. Post the launch, guests were seen mingling with the author.
