SUPERHIT BOYBAND WESTLIFE’S LEAD SINGER, SHANE FILAN UNVEILS NEW SINGLE ‘EVERYTHING TO ME’ IN INDIA’S ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL, MUMBAI
Former boy band Westlife’s lead vocalist, Shane Filan released his new single ‘Everything To Me’, taken from his Debut Solo Album ‘You & Me’ on leading music label, Universal Music India at Hard Rock Café, Lower Parel. A special showcase marked the launch of the single wherein Shane performed live for the audience, giving them an insight into what they can expect from his upcoming project, including a new track titled ‘About You’ that will feature on his upcoming album that is expected to release later this year.
‘Everything To Me’ is sing-a-long, sunshine tinged pop at its finest, and the sound might come as a surprise to fans – but is sure to delight. The song is featured as the lead track on an EP which includes three other brand new songs, written by Shane.
Speaking on the release of his single, Shane Filan said, “I am incredibly excited to have joined Universal Music, and being back in the studio in London and Nashville recording new songs has been amazing.
Working on solo material is something I had always dreamed of doing, and I’m incredibly happy with the results.
‘Everything To Me’ is a very personal song to me lyrically; it is such an upbeat and optimistic record. I can’t wait for people to hear it!”
Known to the world as the front guy of Westlife, Shane Filan has a series of hits like: If I Let You Go, I Lay My Love On You, Swear It Again and Flying Without Wings to his credit. He has won a million hearts with his soulful songs ranging from hits in teen pop to Jazz and Pop rock styles. With his powerful voice and highly characteristic style of singing, Shane has also co-written many of his songs from his popular band days. Having sold over 50 million records worldwide, Westlife bid farewell in 2012, breaking many heartsand leaving bandbuffs in nostalgia. Since the spilt the former Westlife star has decided to go solo.

The debut single “Everything To Me” Shane Filan, topped Irish iTunes list on the day of release. The songalso peaked to number 14 on the UK Singles Chart. With his debut single topping charts, his debut album may very well be a runaway success.
