It appears both Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra are set to have a busy month, with the releases of their respective films ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ coming up this September! While the power-packed sports biopic ‘Mary Kom’ is opening up to massive expectations in theatres across the nation, ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ appears to be a high-octane love story.
‘Mary Kom’ is based on the life of India’s Olympic Bronze medalist female boxer MC Mary Kom. A tale of struggle and determination, the film traces the life of MC Mary Kom as she fights her way to the top. The film reveals the amount of hard work Priyanka has invested into making the character appear flawlessly real. Expectations from the actress soared through the roof and Priyanka Chopra delivered. It appears she has set the bar very high for Bollywood actresses of our times.
Meanwhile, Parineeti is doing what appears to be a romanticized version of her debut film ‘Ishaqzaade’. Playing the feisty Gulrez from Hyderabad, Parineeti seems to be at her best as the adorable yet fiery girl-next-door.
