Nowadays strike means dharna have became common, anybody for and dam reason are going for strike. Film ” AB HOGA DHARNA UNLIMITED” is based on this particular issue. Released on 13th April 2012, film is getting critically acclaimed by many critics. We met stand-up comedian and and actor Sunil Pal at his residence in Juhu and asked his experience and opinion during making of this film.
Sunil Pal has played the main protagonist in this film, he has played role of a Guru, he said “Dharna is not a new trend in India but this time around ‘dharna’ is widely used for publicity gimmick rather than for a social cause. In recent times, the frequency of ‘dharnas’ as well as their truth was highlighted when leaders like Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and social activist Anna Hazare’s ‘dharna’s’ failed to attract the required public support, we had tried to show side effects of Dharna”.
Writer & Creative Director Navin Batra was overwhelmed by the response this film is getting, he announced sequel of this film which is going shortly on the floors and will be released by Nov 2012. Film has Omkar Das Manikpuri (Natha of Peepli Live), Milind Gunaji, Mushtaq Khan, Sunil Pal, Ehsaan Qureshi and Chandra Bhusan Singh,Rekha Rana, Shaurabh Malik, Deepak Tanwar, Sunil Parashar as the main cast of the film.
