Director- producer of the film, ‘Darling Don’t Cheat’, says that the scenes involving stripping and nudity had to be rehearsed over 30 times due to the challenge associated with it for both the artists and himself.

“The stripping scenes had to be rehearsed for over 30 times. And this was not just in the style of stripping but actually going completely nude for over 30 times and being that way till the shot was finalized,” said director-producer Rajkumar Hindusthani. This is another shocking bit of revelation with regards to the film which has already been creating controversies one after the other. The film’s trailer with violence, nudity and cuss words was a bit too hot to handle while a nude trip contest had even led to protests demanding a ban on the film in some areas.

“I didn’t make them do 30 retakes for my sake. The shooting of the scenes was difficult for them, but it was equally difficult for me to direct. But since it was the demand of the script, I had no choice. That emotional pain and discomfort had to reflect naturally on screen and not in a vulgar manner.

It was important to perfect those scenes, for which the artists even took inspiration from the stripping of Zeenat Aman and Padmini Kolhapure by Raj Babbar in ‘Insaaf Ka Tarazu’ and also of Seema Biswas in ‘Bandit Queen’. I’m sure that the impact of the scene is such that it will deter men from rapes,” he added.
The film traces a group of youngsters who are out on a fun trip, but this fun slowly turns into a nightmare for the girls. A couple is facing stress in their relationship and on the other hand, a knife-wielding man traumatizes the girls by confining them and making lives miserable for them.

‘Darling Don’t Cheat’ starring Ram Gaurav Pandey, Ashish Tyagi and Neha Chaterji is produced under the banner Fyeo Media Works and is releasing on March 11.
