Star Sports Pro Kabaddi signs Rana Daggubati, Puneeth Rajkumar and Diljit Dosanjh as its brand ambassadors
‘Bahubali’, Karnataka’s Power Star and Punjab’s heartthrob; three stars with pan-India popularity to be the face of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi set to begin on June 25th in Mumbai ~
Star Sports Pro Kabaddi has witnessed some thrilling edge of the seat action hosting a new and modern avatar of the Indian Sport – Kabaddi. While previous seasons of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi enthralled the audience across segments, making it the second most viewed sport in the country, a large chunk of these fans comprised of celebrities. Adding to the host of luminaries taking the #AsliPanga for Season 4 are Rana Daggubati, Puneeth Rajkumar and Diljit Dosanjh, who have been signed as brand ambassadors of Season 4 of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi that commences on June 25th in Mumbai.
Rana Daggubati is not only a sensation in the South, particularly the Telugu film industry, but is also a popular face in Bollywood thanks to a spate of hit films in the past five years. He is known for his role in Bahubali and has been associated with Star Sports Pro Kabaddi since the last season. Puneeth Rajkumar is a Kanadda film power star, playback singer and television presenter. Diljit Dosanjh, a singer, actor and television presenter from Punjabi music industry is the latest B-Town sensation with his much talked about movie ‘Udta Punjab’.
With less than 48 hours to go for the fourth edition of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi a Star India spokesperson said, “The first three seasons of the league saw an overwhelming response from TV viewers, stadium spectators and sports enthusiasts. All the three stars are ardent sport lovers and have been following Star Sports Pro Kabaddi since inception. They have picked their favourite players and teams and will be following them closely during the league.
Diljit, Rana and Puneeth will be seen cheering for Star Sports Pro Kabaddi as Season-4. The action begins in Mumbai on June 25th, with Puneri Paltan taking on Telugu Titans in the first match.

The league is now in its fourth season is formally backed by the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF), the Asian Kabaddi Federation (AKF) and the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI), who are closely associated with its organization and technical conduct.
Star Sports Pro Kabaddi will be televised LIVE from 25th June on Star Sports 2 & Star Sports HD 2 in English, Star Sports 3 and Star Sports HD 3 in Hindi, Maa Movies in Telugu from 7:50 pm onwards; on Star Gold in Hindi and Suvarna Plus in Kannada from 7:50 pm onwards and on Star’s Digital platform, hotstar.
