The national sport Hockey to reinvigorate in India with one of the most awaited series this year the World Series Hockey, which begins on 29th February 2012. Sporting Ace- part of the rapidly growing Zentrum Group introduced the Bangalore Franchisee of the World Series Hockey, Karnataka Lions today. In addition to the announcement, the team’s jersey was also launched at the press conference. The team is lead by Indian hockey player Arjun Halappa and has Bollywood action hero Suniel Shetty as its Chief Mentor. With a winning combination of young and experienced players such as Hockey Icon – Dhanraj Pillay, Sandeep Singh to name a few, the team is touted as one of the top contenders to win the Series. The team not only has the best players from India but also finest players like Adnan Maqsood and Zeeshan Ashraf from Pakistan and Eli Matheson from Australia.
