South dance sensation, Prabhu Deva to choreograp​h Bollywood’​s bestfor the 13th IIFA Awards

As we draw closer to the 13th Videocon IIFA Weekend 2012, Actor-Choreographer-Director Prabhu Deva is gearing up to choreograph his first ever awards show. Having mastered a wide range of sensational dancing styles, he is considered one of Indian cinema’s greatest dancers and choreographers. This will be the first time ever that the actor will be choreographing an awards show. This will also be the first time that Prabhu Deva will perform at the IIFA Awards, displaying his signature moves.

Prabhu Deva said, “Dancing has always been one of my greatest passions and I have always wanted to be a part of an IIFA celebration and this is an ideal opportunity to combine the two. It is going to be a different experience for me personally, choreographing for Bollywood’s finest and I’m excited to take on this project. The energy on stage is always fascinating; there are so many talented young actors in Bollywood right now and I look forward to working with them.”

The Videocon IIFA Weekend will be hosted in the Lion City of Singapore from the 7th to the9th of June, this year. The Videocon IIFA Weekend, Singapore will be an outstanding celebration of Indian Cinema which will showcase the excellence of Indian Film Industry on the global dais. The spectacular weekend this year will include an extravagant line-up of mega events like the IIFA World Premiere, IIFA Rocks and the magnificent IIFA Awards. The Videocon IIFA Weekend is presented by Videocon Industries and is organized by Wizcraft International Entertainment.
