Sonu Nigam and Sandesh Shandilya join hands once again for Chalk n Duster
Popular singer-composer duo who have popular songs in the past will work together after 14 years!
Singer Sonu Nigam and music composer Sandesh Shandilya will be seen after a long time. The musicians will be seen working after almost 14 years for their upcoming movie project, Chalk n Duster. The lyrics for the song are penned by the seasoned Javed Akhtar.
Sonu Nigam has enthralled his audiences for long now. The praises for his work has been pouring in from all the quarters of the country. Sandesh on the other hand too, has made a huge name for himself with his compositions like Piya Basanti and Aaoge Jab Tum etc.
They will be working after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, where they together rendered popular songs like Suraj Hua Maddham and Deewana Hai Dekho. According to the sources, the duo will be rendering a heartwarming number for Chalk n Duster. The movie is about teachers, the education system and the commercialization of the system in the country, and focuses on the plight of teachers.
The movie stars actresses Shabana Azmi, Juhi Chawla, Zarina Wahab, Divya Dutta in major roles along with Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Sameer Soni and Arya Babbar in pivotal roles.
Chalk n Duster is written by Ranjeev Varma and directed by Jayant Gilatar. The movie is produced by Subhash Singh and Sonali Singh under the 3S Creations banner.
