The acclaimed institution has invited Sonam Kapoor, India’s poster girl for fashion, to join the esteemed panel. Sonam will share insights and participate in the interesting debate that promises to be an eye-opener. The National award winning actress, who put Indian fashion back on the international map will talk about the pitfalls and challenges associated with both notions of beauty and the aspiration to look “beautiful”. Sonam made for the ideal personality to join the panel, especially since the actress broke the internet earlier last year, with her open letter titled “ I Didn’t Wake Up Like This” , busting the myth of flawlessness. The star has also been very vocal about condemning body shaming and embracing individual beauty.
Says sonam kapoor, “I look forward to joining the conversation conducted by the HBS .I think the subject is very relevant to our time.”
The event will be curated at a luxury hotel in South Mumbai later this week.
