Shreyan Bhattacharya and Anjali Gaikwad emerge winners of Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017
The talented duo walks away with a cash prize of 5 Lakhs each
After ruling reality television as the No 1 non-fiction show across Hindi GECs this year and delighting audiences with melodious renditions and dhamakedaar performances of the most talented child singers across the country, Zee TV’s top-rated singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs drew to an exciting finish this weekend. The pioneer of singing reality shows, crowned Shreyan Bhattacharya and Anjali Gaikwad as the winners of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017, amidst a lot of fan-fare and celebrations in Jaipur. This weekend, the Kolkata prodigy Shreyan and the powerhouse of talent from Ahmednagar Anjali were awarded the coveted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs trophy making them the ultimate singing superstars. The finale, held against the backdrop of Jaipur’s mystical ethnic beauty, also saw the presence of actor Kapil Sharma who promoting his upcoming film Firangi, along with dynamic host Aditya Narayan and the terrific judging trio Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar and Javed Ali, who collectively raised the evening’s entertainment quotient.
Talking about his victory, Shreyan Bhattacharya said, “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs has been a great learning experience for me. The mentors and grand jury members have been very supportive and encouraging of our talent throughout our journey, and that has greatly added to my abilities as a performer. Our training and practice sessions have helped us in our overall performances. Have developed some truly special bonds with a few of the jury members as well that I will cherish for life . I am very excited to have won Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs 2017 and want to thank Zee TV for the amazing opportunity.”
Anjali Gaikwad said, “Winning Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs has been a dream come true. I thank my stars that I got selected as one of the challengers in the second round of auditions and since then the journey has been incredible. The sixth season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs touched the viewers hearts creating a special bond with them. Having heard the kids melodious voices week on week, the audiences were mesmerised by the superb talent that the show brought to the platform which was the reason for the overwhelming response that the channel got during the final voting. With the highest ever votes of 1,30,50,000 from all over the country, the audiences voted for their favourite Li’l Champ. While Shreyan and Anjali were awarded the coveted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs trophy, they also walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 5 Lakh
Rupees each and the other runner ups who put up a tough fight were given a cash prize of 2 lakh rupees each. Right from the first week the show became the number one reality singing show in the country which was a testimony of its phenomenal success.
