Sheetal Mafatlal dazzles in couture at the Rio Carnival Ball hosted by Woman India Association in London!
Style maven Sheetal Mafatlal has always been inclined towards philanthropy. The jet setting causerina attended Rio Carnival Ball hosted by Woman India Association of the U.K. this week at Grosvenor House in London. Over the years, WIA has raised funds and made grants that have enhanced the quality of education in schools and supported vulnerable women, children and their families through medical centres, social centres and vocational training schemes.
Not many know that part of WIA’s annual funds are allocated to emergency and disaster relief around the world. Sheetal looked elegant and chic in a sequined embellished Roberto Cavalli gown and completed her look with a top knot and cat eyes. She added her own antique jewellery for the great finish sending the paparazzi into a tizzy. However, devoting her time to social causes is nothing new for the stylissma. The couturissma had also attended a charity gala dinner in London a few months ago where she met His Royal Highness Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla Parker Bowles. At this remarkable soiree, The British Asian Trust was able to raise just over £900,000 – the most the trust has ever raised through fundraising on one evening.
One can’t help but conclude that Causes, carats, caviar, couture and champagne – the 5Cs form the core of Sheetal’s persona. Also seen in the last image is Sheetal posing with dear friends Suhel Seth and Clairie Saran.
