Sheena in a lead role for an international film
Sheena Chohan, also known as the BPL girl is going places. After being the face and host of Bangladesh Premier League 1 and 2, and completing two films with Buddhadeb Dasgupta, she has now been signed to work as the lead protagonist in the internationally known director “Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s” film.
The news was announced last week in Bangladesh and they are now shooting. Sheena is absorbing the character well. As the character has got so many different dimensions and it is a very psychologically challenging character to potray. The film is titled “Ant Story”.
Sheena’s character is called “Rima”. She quips “I have several best reasons to do this film as an actor. It is an honour and privilege to be the lead of Farooki’s film. He is very well known and respected even in the International circuit for his film making. Also this role is very challenging and that for any actor, when a character is challenging, it gets lucrative. For now we have workshops with the team and it is going to be very exciting and one of a kind experience.
