SCREEN AWARDS 2014: BEST ACTOR – SRK, BEST ACTRESS – DEEPIKA PADUKONE, BEST MARKETING – RCE AND BEST VFX – RCE VFX
The awards season is here and the celebrations have already started. Kamla Pasand Life Ok Screen Awards celebrated its 20th edition of award ceremony on January 14th , Tuesday.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan won the Best Actor award in the Popular Choice category for his work in Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express. Actress Deepika Padukone won the Best Actress award in Popular Choice category for Chennai Express. Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd won the Best Marketing in a Film award for their work in Chennai Express. And Red Chillies VFX won the Best VFX in a Film for their work in Krrish 3.
Honoured and humbled for the awards, SRK said, “Thank you so much Kamla Pasand Life OK Screen Awards 2014. Most proud of the Red Chillies VFX award, I think they are very
hardworking. The work they do is very different and difficult in this country.
So I’m very-very proud of it. Congratulations to Mr Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik and thank you for giving us the opportunity to work on the film. I am very proud of the marketing that Red Chillies has done for Chennai Express, with Karuna (Badwal), Karim (Morani), Venky (Mysore) and the whole team. It takes a lot of hard work. Also thank you for the Popular Choice award. I will work harder, be inspired and try to do my best Insha Allah, not only for the company but also my children. Thank you.”
