The music of Yeh Jo MohabbatHai continues the legacy of Shakti Samanta’s banner Aradhana Filmswhich brought a bevy of iconic films with evergreen music like Amar Prem, Anurag,Howrah Bridge, China Town, Aradhana, Kati Patang, Kashmir Ki Kali, Evening inParis, Barsaat Ki Ek Raat, This film also marks the introduction ofhis grandson Aditya Samanta – who makes his bollywood debut along withNazia Hussain (grand niece of the late Nargis Dutt and niece to Sanjay Dutt).
The evening was buzzing with energyat the music launch of Yeh Jo Mohobaat Hai. Present were producer, AshimSamanta along with son Aditya Samanta, Nazia Hussain (Sanjay Dutt’sniece), Moushumi Chatterjee, Mohnish Behl, Rati Agnihotri and FaridaJalal. The lead pair of the film performed on “Pyaar karna na tha”after which Anu Malik shared the stage with daughter Anmol Malik for the firsttime where the duo performed on a track from the movie which is the “BigFat Indian Wedding”. Neeraj Shridhar also performed at the event.

Ashim is all praises for Nazia, he evenmentioned on the podium that ‘’Nazia is exactly what we wanted. Iauditioned so many girls. I wanted somebody young and innocent. Someone whodepicted a mix of tradition and modernity. Nazia fit the bill perfectly,”he added.
Aditya & Nazia seem to have found anexcellent rapport. They were very comfortable around each other and wereconstantly pulling each other’s leg, like buddies!
The entire cast was all praise about thechemistry Aditya and Nazia share. The film is scheduled to release on 3rd August 2012.

Our background is set amongst a set ofproud Indian families comprising of the Rathore and Choudhary who are both verywealthy hoteliers from Udaipurin Rajasthan. An unsolved murder of a family member, combined withbusiness rivalry and the need to prove to each other their supremacy deepensthe enmity. However, God has other plans. A girl (Karishma) is born to theRathore family and a boy (Karan) to the Choudhary family. 23 yearshence, unknown of their family backgrounds, they meet each other one summer inthe romantic and breathtaking locales of Poland where the journey of loveand togetherness begins….It’s a beautiful narration where emotions,drama, lilting music and passionate romance make a great comeback.
