To mark the occasion of the International Dance Day, Sandeep Soparkar & Jesse Randhawa are presenting “Brazilian Samba’s theatrical Show” for the first time ever in India.
The couple-SANDEEP & JESSE comes together for their first production of a theatrical show based on Brazilian Samba which was held on the International Dance Day i.e. on 29th of April 2012.
The Guest of honor for the show was The Brazilian Council General – JOSAL LUIZ PELLEGRINO. This show depicted the evolution of the dance form-SAMBA from 16th century till date. This show had all the elements to make the dance form much more interesting and eye-catchy. It also had Drama, Emotions, Live Brazilian music and of course Colorful clad dancers too.
An hour long performance showcased the evolution and history of Samba. Such kind of Theatrical representation was set for the first time in INDIA.
The direction of the show was done by Jesse Randhawa. It is Jesse’s directorial debut in Theatre.The main cast of the show also included Sandeep & Jesse along with other 16 dancers and musicians. All in all it was an evening full of dance and joy where everyone had a great time !
