Sandesh Gour’s Daai goes houseful in its First weekend

The premiere of the regional Chattisgargh based film Daai starring the south star Sandesh Gour was recently held in Nagpur on 4 January , 2013. At the event producer Shri Ramesh Chopde and actor Sandesh Gour welcomed and felicitated the chief guests. Chief Guests were BJP Maharashtra State level Maha-Mantri Shri Devendra Fadvanis, MLA Shri ShudhakarRao Deshmukh, MLA Shri Krishna Khopde and Nagpur City’s Mayor Shri Anil Sole.

BJP MLA Shri Devendra Fadvanis named actor Sandesh Gour with pride as “Shaan-e-Nagpur” and wished him for a bright future in Bollywood and post then the screening of the film took place.

The film DAAI released in a single screen theatre called Jayshree Talkies in Nagpur. The film received tremendous response and as per the managers the news is that the shows went houseful for the first weekend. The subject of the film is based on Indian women suffering from the cruelty and family violence and throws light on issues like rape, murder, child marriage, etc.

People have loved the film and moreover have loved Sandesh Gour’s performance in it. Post the screening associate director MR Raju Dhoke said, “I am proud that I took Sandesh in the film to play the character of Rocky. I had seen his work in CID and a soap called Pratigya on star plus. This guy has great potential and will make it big”.

Actor Sandesh Gour then concluded the premiere with a vote of thanks and a message to respect women.
