Rock Concert at VIBGYOR High’s annual fest VIVA
The first day of the annual inter-school revelry ends with LIVE rock concert
While temperatures plummeted in the city, spirits soared at VIBGYOR High as its Viva time once again! There was a flurry of activity, fun and fiesta not only in our schools in Goregaon West and Malad East, but also at Aarey Bhaskar Amphitheatre where the inaugural ceremony took off with much fanfare. The Principals of our schools at Malad East and Goregaon West, Ms Mini Nair and Mr Shim Mathew respectively, released balloons in the colours of the rainbow. As the Viva theme song resounded, the cynosure of all eyes was the revamped Viva logo, announcing to the skies the commencement of Viva 4.
Today Mumbai witnessed the new generation rock band with a different zing. The celebrations rolled off with a treat for music aficionados as the 7 bands vied for the prestigious title, in the Battle of the Bands – Drums and Roses. The Paradox Troupe from VIBGYOR High, Goregaon West, strummed their way back home with the title.
The school premises too, buzzed with activity as the Inter School Sports Competitions in Swimming and Judo saw more than 500 participants from 41 schools anxiously awaited for their event. Excitement was palpable at the ‘Funzone’ as it swarmed with enthusiastic players, hoping to have ‘Lady Luck’ by their side, while eagerly participating in the various games.
With the aim, VIBGYOR Viva is an initiative to enhance the holistic development of the thousands of students. These young talents during festival, starting from today will surprise everyone. India is pack with diverse talent and VIBGYOR High is providing the apt platform for them.
The musical evening explode the code of music in each one’s mind. With such a marvellous beginning, expectations are rising to a crescendo and many more exhilarating events are being anticipated.
