While the nation awaits the holy matrimony of lovers Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza, the duo offered an early delight for all their fans as they performed a live wedding act on the stage of the 7th Edition of the Chevrolet Apsara Awards. As the lovely couple is gearing up for their real marriage in the first week of February, the dazzling on-stage wedding act was indeed a rehearsal of sorts with the entire film fraternity on hand joining in to bless their union. Karan and Farah, the hosts of the show were also a part of this commemoration.
The performance was a beautiful depiction of their romantic journey right from how they met to reaching this serene juncture. The entire film fraternity which played guests at the lavish wedding was spell-bound by the romance at the Apsara Awards which unfolded at Yash Raj Studios on the 25th of January. The live act also highlighted the unity and love amongst our film industry and re-enforced the faith that they all are one big happy family!
