Rishi Kapoor seeks blessings from Asha Bhosle by touching her feet
Melody queen Asha Bhosle has mesmerised audiences for over six decades with her soulful voice garnering respect and admiration from the entire Indian Film Industry. Among Asha tai’s many admirers is veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and he proved this with a sweet gesture at the recently held Sansui COLORS Stardust Awards.
While she was on stage, host Maniesh Paul requested Asha Bhosle to sing a few lines from her song Humne Tumko Dekha which she graciously agreed to do. In the middle of the performance, she pointed at Rishi Kapoor who was sitting in the front row and said ‘Woh raha mera hero’ because the song was picturised on him.
Humbled by the legendry singer’s gesture, Rishi Kapoor came on stage and touched her feet, also joining in and singing the last part of the verse ‘Hum tum sanam, saato janam’.
The 14th Sansui COLORS Stardust Awards will be televised on 8th January 2017 on COLORS!
