Bags 7 awards for innovative promotions and creative vision

 

New Delhi,  93.5 RED FM, India’s largest radio network bagged seven awards recently, at the 4th edition of Golden Mikes Radio Advertising Awards 2014. The awards conferred to 93.5 RED FM were in the following categories majorly: Innovation, Promotions and Excellence. RJ Raunac (who also plays the popular character Bauaa) won the RJ of the year Award (National). Following are the details of the awards won:

1.       MAMA KI CHHUTTI (Category: Promotion, Sub-Category:  Best on-ground promotion by a single radio station for self (Sponsored by a client) – NAGPUR

3.       THAPPA SEASON 2 (Category: Promotion, Sub-Category: Best on-ground promotion by a network of stations for self (Sponsored by a client) – NETWORK

4.       BBM: RJ SE DOSTO KA FAYDA & BOLLYWOODIA BBM PE (Category: Innovation, Sub-Category: Best Use of Multiple Radio Stations – MUMBAI

5.       POTHOLE UTSAV (Category: Innovation, Sub-Category: Most unique Programming concept/ideas) – MUMBAI

6.       RED RAAS (Category: Innovation, Sub-Category: Most unique Programming concept/ideas) – AHMEDABAD

7.       RJ Raunac (Category: Excellence, Sub-Category: RJ of the Year) – DELHI

RED FM was riding high with 12 nominations in the all four domains. Delighted with the win, Ms. Nisha Narayanan, COO, 93.5 RED FM, expressed her gratitude and said, “The victory at Golden Mikes Awards has furthered strengthened our belief in the excellence we have achieved in terms of content, innovations and promotions over the last year. This year at the Golden Mikes 2014, the 41 award categories were spread over four key benchmarks, which received almost 537 entries. The star studded ceremony at ITC Parel, Mumbai, awarded the best of radio advertising on stations across India. The entries were judged by the distinguished panel chaired by Mr. Bharat Patel, Former Chairman of P&G Hygiene/Health and Chairman of ISA.
