Rang Rasiya Makers Launched its Title Track As a Gift For Lead Pairs Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen’s Birthday

Rang Rasiya makers are starting the film’s promotion today by launching its title song across digital mediums and other platforms. Director Ketan Mehta has finalised this date as the lead pair of the film, Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen, celebrated their birthdays on 19th and 20th August, respectively. Filmmaker says that this is his gift to both of them since they waited patiently for the release of the film.

Sandesh Shandilya has composed the film’s music with a mix of Indian and Western influences. Rang Rasiya is the drama set in the 19th century, based on the colourful and controversial life of Raja Ravi Varma, one of India’s finest painters. He has been certified as the first artist to have visualised and painted Indian Gods, Raja Ravi Varma is seen as a strong figure, which changed the way of Indian’s worship.
When asked Jayantilal Gada about the performances of the lead pair and harmonious music which adds depth to the drama, he says, “It deals with a chapter of history that every Indian should know about. That’s our only purpose in presenting this film.”

When asked Ketan Mehta about what encouraged him to choose this subject, he says, “It’s an inspiring story of an inspiring man — an artist who fought against all odds for the idea of freedom of expression. I simply had to make this film.”

Rang Rasiya, starring Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen, directed by Ketan Mehta, presented by Jayantilal Gada (PEN) , produced by Aanand Mehendroo & Deepa Sahi, co-produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada , Kushal Kantilal Gada & Reshmaa Kadakia, is slated to release this Diwali.
