Rana Daggubati’s in conversation with the incredible filmmaker’s of Pitta Kathalu
Netflix’s first Telugu anthology Pitta Kathalu describes four short stories of women standing tall and fighting to reclaim their power in a world where they’re constantly silenced. The four-part anthology film is directed by four of the finest stalwarts of Telugu cinema – Tharun Bhascker, B.V. Nandini Reddy, Nag Ashwin and Sankalp Reddy.
Pitta Kathalu, which means short stories in Telugu, tells the stories of four distinctly bold women. Bringing these characters to life are Eesha Rebba, Lakshmi Manchu, Amala Paul and Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Superstar Rana Daggubati is super kicked about the release of the film and engaged in a candid conversation with the 4 Directors, Srishti Behl Arya, Director, Indian Original Films, Netflix and Ashi Dua, Producer, Flying Unicorn Entertainment, to decode what went into the making of Pitta Kathalu.

Audiences will watch 4 incredible filmmakers come to life with Pitta Kathalu on Netflix. Thank you Netflix and RSVP / Flying Unicorn Entertainment for putting this together. We are hoping that you’ll do many more unique films and break the mould with new interesting voices from across India!”
