Rakesh Maria’s removal from the Sheena Bora murder case comes as quite a shock to the makers of Talvar.
The similarities between Arushi Talwar murder case and the Sheena Bora murder case are shockingly surprising. Both the cases have drawn parallels at many points till now.
Ex- Mumbai Police commissioner Rakesh Maria’s sudden promotion as Director general of Police Homegaurds has already raised many eyebrows and interestingly, Irrfan’s character in Talvar is also unceremoniously removed from the case.
Such shockingly similar developments have taken the makers of the film Talvar, specially Irrfan Khan by a surprise, as it has happened so close to its release date.

There are several parallels between the two cases, i.e Aarushi Talwar and Sheena Bora murder case. And ironically Sheena’s murder investigation is following a similar trajectory like Aarushi’s. Even in Talvar, Irrfan’ s character gets removed abruptly and unceremoniously from the case.. ” shares Meghna Gulzar.
