The ‘Twilight Saga’ has won the 2013 People’s Choice Award for the Favorite Movie Fan Following. ‘Twilight Saga’ which spanned over 4 years came to an end with the release of Breaking Dawn Part 2. The last leg of the movie was released amidst fan fare and worked wonders at the box office.
In a closely competitive genre, the series managed to beat other communities like Potterheads of Harry Potter, Ringers of The Lords of the Rings, Rum Runners of Pirates of the Caribbean and Tributes of The Hunger Games. This award is special for the series as it displays loyal support from their fan base. The Twilight Saga began its journey in 2008 with the release of ‘Twilight’ and had audiences and fans hooked onto the incredible journey. Based on books, the movies managed to increase its loyal fan-base with every movie. Fans across the world have shown tremendous support and have displayed excitement every time a new movie was released.
