Producer (of forthcoming movie Raqt) Amit Mishra’s birthday party last nite (Saturday) at The Club, Andheri(W) was a rollicking affair. Indra Kumar, noted producer-director known for his blockbuster movies was one of the first to arrive(Infact, he reached the venue earlier than the host!). Others who strolled in were Vindu Dara Sibgh, Abhishek Awasthi (who was dancing away to glory), Rashmi Pitre,Mink, Bobby Darling (who was subdued in his antics this time), Dj Akbar Sami (who made a late and rare party appearance), actor-turned-directors Adi Irani and Shivaa, comedian Suresh Menon, model-actress Meghna Patel, politicos Mahesh Tapase and Mohit Gambhir et al. Many eye-brows were raised when current hot item-girl Mariam (of Saif Ali’s Agent Vinod) from Sweden walked in. Though she didn’t mingle with all and sundry she was sportive enough and kept flashing her infectious smile as long as she stayed in the party. Amit’s producer brother Ashish saw to it that the guests were well taken care of.
