Priyanka Chopra out with her third international single “I Can’t Make You Love Me” starring Hollywood heartthrob Milo Ventimiglia.
After the roaring success of her first 2 singles – In My City featuring Will.I.Am and Exotic feat Pitbull, Priyanka Chopra has just launched her 3rd international single on April 22nd. Titled “I Can’t Make you Love Me”, this is unique cover of Bonnie Raitt’s 1991 hit single that was voted into Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Just a few hours post release on iTunes and other digital platforms the song has already entered the Top 3 position on the charts.
The video for the new single which will hit airwaves in early May will feature American actor and heartthrob Milo Ventimiglia. Capturing hearts and audiences across the globe as Peter Petreilli in TV’s hit series Heroes, Milo has established himself as household name, capturing hearts on a global level with his roles in both TV and film internationally.
Talking about what made Milo the ideal guy for the song, Priyanka said, “I approached this video almost like a movie with every scene broken down to the minutest detail. The directors, Jon and Jeff, and I were very clear that we needed someone who could not only look a certain way but also be able to portray the emotions required for this video. Milo is kinda like the “bad boy you want to take home to meet the parents” and was the perfect choice for us all! He was super cool to work with… fun, easy, involved and so talented. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!”
Commenting on being part of the new video, Milo Ventimiglia said,” “I’ve always admired the vibrancy and depth of Bollywood films, so working with Priyanka was an amazing and enriching experience. She had such a clear and unique vision for the video, so it was really cool to see each of those moments come to life in the form of a mini movie. Her passion, talent, and beauty are inspiring, how could I not fall in love with her”
Shot in Los Angeles, the video has been directed by Jeff Nicholas and Jonathan Craven from ‘The Creative Uprising’… sought after directors who have previously worked with artists like Rihanna and Justin Timberlake.
Talking about the song says Priyanka Chopra, “I’m super excited about this song. It’s my first solo single and also one of my all time favourite songs. I’ve added in a bit of my own ‘Priyanka tadka’ to this version, which is an EDM track.”
